Use of a Sand and Salt Mix for Snow and Ice Management
Since there are advantages to both salt and sand, sometimes the best option is to use a mix of the two. The sand and salt mix offers the melting power of salt and the added traction of sand, making it very useful in all weather conditions and on all surfaces. All you have to do is apply a thin layer of the mix to the snow or ice, and you’re done!
