Several stone grades which meet the CSA-A23.2 standard are available for concrete manufacturing.

BUILDING STONE
Stone with excellent compaction qualities, that provides a stable and solid base for asphalt, pavers, patios and foundation work. These materials satisfy all requirements detailed in the Cahier des charges et devis généraux (CCDG) of the Quebec Department of Transportation (MTQ). Grade 30 – 50 mm is the stone used for railway ballast (support base for railroad tracks).

DRAINAGE STONE
This type of stone is used for water flow applications (drainage) and is available in a variety of grades depending on the work to be done.

STONE DUST
Very fine stone with excellent compaction qualities. Used as a finishing underlayer for above – ground pools, for concrete slabs, terrace blocks and interlocking pavers. Also used as filling between slabs or flat stones in landscaping as well as a surface layer on walking trails and bike paths.
