GROUT FOR CULVERT REPAIRS BY INSERTION

Groupe Bellemare’s Concrete group has developed expertise and a grout that meets requirements needed to fill annular spaces with the pipe-inserting method in culvert restoration. This outstanding low-density mix has great fluidity and lightness. It is three times lighter than regular concrete.

Insertion grout characteristics:

  • Light| Mass density 750 ± 50 kg/m3
  • Simple, safe and efficient Installation
  • Placement: by gravity or pump
  • Prevents load peaks
  • Transfers loads to the new pipe
  • Compression strength (28 days): 3 to 5 MPa
  • Air bubble spacing factor: 40 um
  • Freeze-thaw cycles: 300 cycles
