Groupe Bellemare markets a variety of sand types and gravels extracted from its sandpits in the Mauricie region.

PLAYGROUND SAND

Natural sand that has been sieved and washed and does not stain is available in large quantities. Ideal for children’s playgrounds and sandboxes, this product is available as certified or not certified, according to your needs.

SAND FOR TRAPS

Grades ranging from 1 to 2 mm. This sieved and washed sand has been developed for use on golf courses according to industry standards. It does not compact much and the fineness of grain ensures that no gravel is propelled on to the greens.

MORTAR SAND

High-quality natural sand, sieved and washed, ideal for masonry work.

CLASS “A” SAND

Regular sieved sand with a stable grain size. This versatile and economic sand is ideal for landscaping and as an underlayment for patios, sidewalks, slabs and interlocking paving stones. It can also be used in grout, in concrete mixes, in a variety of filtration processes and as an anti-slip agent for icy surfaces.

MG-112 | CG-14 CERTIFIED CLASS “A” SAND

First-quality compaction sand that complies with the MG-112 and CG-14 standards of the Quebec Department of Transportation (MTQ). Sample uses: interior foundations or compaction. It is freeze and swell-resistant ensuring soil stability.

CLASS “B” SAND

Ideal for exterior foundations as well as backfilling (grading up a terrain).

COMPACTION SAND

Ideal for pool installation, underlayment filling or backfilling of foundations.

CONCRETE SAND

Sand used in the preparation of concrete or sand-cement.

FILTRATION SAND Q2-R22

Certified sand, ideal for leaching fields.

PAVEMENT SAND

Sand used in bituminous coated material making.

STALL SAND

Sand used as animal litter by breeders. Neither too fine nor too coarse, this sand has a perfect grain size and since it contains no organic material, it reduces the risk of bacterial proliferation. A sand litter rhymes with comfort and comfort rhymes with health, decrease of injuries, longevity and productivity.
