The importance of well-being at work: Groupe Bellemare recognized Healthy Enterprise Level 2

Our commitment to the well-being of our employees has always been at the heart of our mission. However, our journey towards a corporate culture focused on health and well-being gained momentum when "CIUSSS-MCQ" (Integrated University Health and Social Services Center - Mauricie-Centre-du-Québec) approached us and invited us to join the "Groupe Entreprises en santé". This opportunity paved the way for a positive transformation within the company.

In response to this invitation, we established the Health and Well-being Committee composed of dedicated and committed members. This committee played an essential role in the application process for Healthy Enterprise recognition. Together, they worked on various aspects aimed at improving the quality of life at work. One of the crucial steps to achieve Level 2 of this recognition was addressing two specific issues within the organization. Through the collaboration of the committee and all employees, Groupe Bellemare successfully met this challenge. These efforts enabled us to take a significant step forward in our continuous improvement process for the health and well-being of workers.

This recognition is valid for only one year, but Groupe Bellemare has ambitious goals. We now aim for Level 3, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of our workers.

To promote these values, we have already organized various inspiring events. Pierre Lavoie, a prominent figure in his field, shared his expertise during a captivating conference. We also formed a Dragon Boat team, fostering teamwork, and offered preparatory courses for the 7 km Trail Race of the Parc de la Mauricie Challenges, promoting an active lifestyle. Additionally, we have taken concrete actions to reduce the noise level in the garage, thereby improving the working environment for our employees.

Our journey towards a corporate culture centered on health and well-being at work is remarkable, and we are proud of it. Achieving Level 2 of the recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to creating an environment conducive to the personal and professional development of our employees. With continuous initiatives and our ambitious vision, we aspire to become a model for organizations eager to invest in the well-being of their teams.
