It is with great pride that we have deployed a recycling bin that will allow people to drop off several types of non-returnable, single-use, curbside collected, transparent or coloured glass containers, which will be directly sent back into circular economy.
This bin is installed in a Société immobilière Duguay parking lot, near SAQ Dépôt, on Des Récollets Boulevard in Trois-Rivières. This action is in line with the Quebec government’s intention to implement a deposit program for several types of containers, including glass, within the next few months.
Groupe Bellemare is one of the few Quebec companies with solid expertise in the recovery and recycling of several types of glass. Being environmentally responsible, citizens who drop off their glass containers on Boulevard des Récollets will play a tangible role in the greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals. To this end, the entire population of the Trois-Rivières region is invited to drop off their glass containers in the new bin.
