Throughout the year, Groupe Bellemare organizes a variety of activities to bring its employees together. These are mainly annual events with a high level of engagement as employees look forward to them! 

This team building is sometimes done between departments or with all Groupe Bellemare employees. We even have activities to entertain the children!

Without further ado, here are the activities you can expect during a year at Groupe Bellemare.

Outings to the Trois-Rivières Lions and Aigles

Depending on the season, you will frequently have the chance to attend games of these two teams that have proven themselves in Mauricie. 

We have a box at the Colisée Vidéotron to welcome the members of a department for a festive evening (some drinks and food included in the menu)!

On the side of the Trois-Rivières Aigles, get ready to live a completely unique baseball experience! A Bellemare container has been converted into a lounge (Lounge Somavrac - Groupe Bellemare) with a breathtaking view of the field and the game. Once again, drinks and hot dogs from the stadium will be available!

These activities, in a relaxed atmosphere, are perfect for you to have a good time with your colleagues and get to know them better … while having fun! 

The famous summertime BBQ

What better way to celebrate summer than with a good barbecue? On a preselected (and highly anticipated by employees) date, each of our work sites receives a visit from a mechoui, caterer or food truck (this varies from year to year)! 

As you can imagine, this is a recipe to spend a festive and pleasant lunch (or dinner for our evening employees, we don’t forget them) with colleagues. We enjoy the sun, we laugh and above all we eat very well! What do we serve you? 

Gatherings for Building Inaugurations

When Groupe Bellemare’s facilities expand, we celebrate in style! The construction or renovation of a major building for one of our many sectors is not something we take lightly.

To celebrate these accomplishments, the company is hosting a festive gathering that could be compared to a housewarming party! What? You’ve never had a band, a food truck or a ribbon-cutting ceremony at your housewarming party? We did! 

Staff Christmas Party

At Bellemare, we don’t do things by halves to celebrate the holiday season! Employees are rewarded and it’s time to celebrate! Dress up and get ready for an evening full of surprises.

With over 400 guests each year, the organizers do an incredible job of including a gourmet dinner, social club giveaways, prizes featuring local producers and much more. After dinner, you’ll have to show us your best dance moves, because they even invite a live band (we had Eric Masson last year!).

Spouses are welcome to attend this event. To ensure that all employees can enjoy the evening, a cab ride home is included! For employees who work at our Ste-Catherine terminal, Bellemare offers the hotel room. 

Children’s Christmas Party

Why have one Christmas party when you can have two! The goal of this event is to make our little ones happy. All you have to do is register your child (ren) for this day and Groupe Bellemare will take care of the rest.!

Directly at RécréOFUN, this magical day begins with a morning full of activities: a gift worth about $50 for each child present, a face-painting stand, a buffet and even the REAL Santa Claus!

The rest of the day is free for the kids and adults to have fun with each other. It’s the perfect opportunity to make new friendships!

Annual Hockey Games

Bellemare has many field hockey fans. If it’s a sport you like to play or learn, the whites or the darkies will welcome you with open arms! 

In fact, a few times a year, games are organized in the parking lot of Groupe Bellemare’s head office.

You want to trade your boots for your skates? It’s a good thing! Bellemare is also organizing a friendly field hockey game on different ice surfaces in the region. To participate, you will be asked to pay $20 for the game. Why? The money raised is donated to the organization le Noël du Pauvre ! 

Participation in Numerous Races

Groupe Bellemare is proud to be involved in these events to get its employees moving: Défi Entreprises, Défis du Parc and Triathlon de Nicolet.

You have never run in your life? That’s okay! Join our running club which includes a training and preparation program for official races. 

Groupe Bellemare is also a committed financial partner of the Défis du Parc. We even have our own race: the Groupe Bellemare 7 km trail run. Strap on your sneakers, we’re running!
