The 856H-E, acquired from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.groupegymdex.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Groupe Gymdex<\/a> in Terrebonne, will be deployed in the operations of the Glass Plan in Trois-Rivi\u00e8res, supplying glass recycling equipment with an autonomy of 8 to 10 hours and a recharge time of only 2 hours.<\/p>\r\n<p>The environmental benefits, in terms of reducing carbon and noise emissions, as well as substantial savings on operating and maintenance costs, make this transition to electric power a strategic move for Groupe Bellemare. With a forecasted reduction of 130 tons of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions annually, equivalent to removing 40 cars from the road, this initiative aligns with the group&#8217;s vision to become a leader in regional decarbonization.<\/p>\r\n<p>Serge Bellemare, President of Groupe Bellemare, states, &#8220;<em>Our group is intensifying its efforts to contribute to decarbonization goals and position itself as a leader in this field.<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\r\n<p>This acquisition marks the beginning of a process aimed at gradually replacing diesel units with electric ones.
