That&#8217;s why we&#8217;ve implemented ecological initiatives aimed at minimizing our carbon footprint. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.groupebellemare.com\/en\/blog\/green-building-site\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Our construction sites incorporate environmentally friendly practices<\/a>, our containers assist in construction <a href=\"https:\/\/www.groupebellemare.com\/en\/blog\/what-to-know-container-rental\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">waste management<\/a>, and our sorting center allows the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.groupebellemare.com\/en\/blog\/recycling-building-materials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">use of recycled materials<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Here are the key sustainable development actions you can participate in:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>A green committee meets regularly to discuss environmental matters. The committee&#8217;s objective is to find ecological alternatives for various daily situations and challenges. The committee is also working towards obtaining eco-responsibility certification<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Implementation of sorting centers in our office spaces where items such as batteries, pens, and highlighters are collected, among other things<\/li>\r\n\t<li>We have initiated the carbon-climate certification process. This will enable us to conduct assessments and analyses to continue improving our environmental statistics.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Our employees frequently participate in panels and conferences on sustainable development.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Implementation of innovative projects, such as our new solar wall, which allows us to save energy and significantly reduce our greenhouse gas emissions<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Participation in ecological projects like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.larouteduverre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La route du verre<\/a>. (information in French) This project enabled the establishment of more than 30 glass container drop-off points. Recycled glass is revalued and reintroduced into the market under different products.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Innovation by testing new ecological technologies. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.groupebellemare.com\/en\/news\/an-electric-truck-put-to-the-test\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This is what we have done with an electric truck.<\/a><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><strong>Social Involvement: Equally Important<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p>We are aware that our employees are our most valuable asset.
