In 1948, Thomas Bellemare ltd. obtained its very first snow clearing contracts from the town of Yamachiche. In those days, snow-covered roads were left largely unattended.
One contract after another soon followed. These included the 19B in Yamachiche towards St-Barnabé, the Yamachiche parish and village, route 138 towards Louisville and Trois-Rivières, the Pointe-du-Lac parish and village, the city of Trois-Rivières-Ouest, the Louisville parish, sections of Trois-Rivières, the Pont Laviolette, a section of highway 55 and several parking lots owned by shopping centers, hospitals, schools, businesses and universities.
And our proudest achievement: highway 40 serving Trois-Rivières and St-Bathélémy.
