Louiseville - Evolution of the Concrete Factory
1966
Thomas Bellemare ltd. in Yamachiche purchases Louiseville's Ciments Maski ltd.
1972
A second concrete factory is built at 2950 Sidbec in Trois-Rivières-Ouest and goes by the name of Ciments Maski ltd.
1974
Louiseville's entire Ciments Maski ltd. organization relocates to 150 Grande Carrière. With investments of over $250,000, a new factory is built, along with new offices and a large garage.
1982
Closure of the Trois-Rivières-Ouest Ciments Maski ltd. concrete factory. The organization remains in place and operational. Investments are made in Béton Laurentide Inc. in Trois-Rivières-Ouest.
1983
The Ciments Maski ltd. name is dropped and replaced by Thomas Bellemare ltd.
1998
A new concrete silo is built in Louiseville.
1999
Louiseville's concrete plan operations are computerized with a new Marcotte system. The sum of $100,000 is invested to expand the factory's Louiseville grounds.
2001
Béton Laurentide Inc. in both Trois-Rivières-Ouest and Grand-Mère receive major investments. Tom Bellemare, engineer, takes over the concrete factory's management in Louiseville.
