Bellemare Abrasives & Minerals, also known as SDF Abrasives, has been working in the micro aggregate field since 1960. In the earlier years, the company's activities were concentrated in the production of foundry sand, grout and sandblast.

In the 70's, Bellemare Abrasives & Minerals started developing its own sand screening and drying methods at its Trois-Rivieres, PQ plant.

Since then, the firm has been creating new production techniques in order to diversify its line of products.

Gradually, following the orientations taken by its current director M. Serge Bellemare, Bellemare Abrasives & Minerals has found its way into the national market of surface preparation and sandblast abrasive. The company has now broken through the international market where it is making its mark.

Diversity, performance

Today, Bellemare Abrasives & Minerals offers six abrasive products and two mineral products of different range and grain size distribution.

The company offers its product to a wide variety of customers, from private individuals to large manufacturing companies.

The products are mainly used for sandblast, filtration, grout, surface preparation and foundries. However, Bellemare Abrasives & Minerals also offers many more products with specific applications in order to satisfy the needs of its customers.
